Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication among team members.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
- Provide training and support to new employees, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Physical Demands
- Essential: stooping/bending, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
- Frequent: sitting, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
- Occasional: standing, walking, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, reaching above, at and below shoulder level.
Working Conditions
- Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education/Certification and Licensure
- Associate's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field; or two (2) years of progressive experience in healthcare, preferably in a physician practice, may substitute for educational requirement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of third-party and government payor and reimbursement regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid program requirements, is preferred.
- Experience
- In addition to the educational requirement, three (3) years of experience in any or combination of the following: physician's practice, health clinic operations, medical insurance, physician practice services.
- Prior experience demonstrating ability to work effectively with physicians is required.
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience is desirable.
