About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment safely and properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all exams using established protocols and educate patients concerning the exam.
  • Properly screen patients for any contrast allergies and operate all imaging equipment in a safe manner, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
  • Position patients and equipment and select technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards, in a safe and timely manner.
  • Complete required documentation for Radiologist support and maintain properly stocked, organized, and clean rooms.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
  • General Radiographer state license as required by state if applicable.
