Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with medically related disorders of swallowing, language, voice, cognition, and motor-speech to enable them to reach their maximum rehabilitative potential.

• Provide care to patients/clients throughout the divisions of LH, under the direction of the Wellness/Rehab Director and in collaboration with the Division Administration, referring Providers, and patient care team.

• Follow the most current LH policy and procedures, Maine State licensing requirements, Scope of Practice, and Reimbursement Rules and Regulations relating to Speech Therapy.

• Work with a primary location and support other service delivery areas within the LH scope as competency and resources allow.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above, or four to ten years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Maine license.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, respond effectively to sensitive inquiries, and present information to management and public groups.

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations, define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

• CCC (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) certification.
