The Financial Planning Analyst will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Mergers & Acquisitions, focusing on the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses.

This role involves collaboration with various departments, including Accounting, Fleet, and IT, to support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance financial planning and analysis tools utilized by executive management to set objectives and evaluate performance.
  • Prepare reports for board meetings and quarterly senior leadership discussions.
  • Conduct routine and complex financial analyses and modeling to support growth initiatives as directed by the Director of FP&A/M&A.
  • Assist in developing financial evaluations for M&A activities.
  • Create financial models to forecast future business outcomes.
  • Compile quarterly KPI Reports with narrative support for the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with the Director of FP&A/M&A to strengthen performance metrics and trends.
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses for the Chief Financial Officer and Director of FP&A/M&A as needed.
  • Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in finance or a related field.
  • Progress towards or interest in the CFA Institute, Chartered Financial Analyst program, or other relevant finance/accounting designations.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets and industry analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to expand knowledge in finance.
  • Ability to create professional documents and presentations.
  • Proficient in gathering and interpreting data, preparing summarized reports, and effectively communicating findings.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, S&P Capital IQ, and database programs.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Remote work option available for non-field roles based on position and performance.
