Speech Therapist

Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Administer therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Provide support to residents with communication and swallowing disorders
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in geriatric speech therapy or a senior living setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
