Welder and Fabricator

**Job Title:** Welder and Fabricator

**Company Overview:** The Cook & Boardman Group NC is seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team in Erie, PA. As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication of hollow metal doors and frames in our facility.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Welding parts together to create hollow metal doors and frames

* Using jigsaw or other power tools to cut holes in doors and frames

* Smoothing out welds using an electric grinder

* Installing vision kits and glass in doors

* Reading work orders and product templates to ensure accurate fabrication

* Working closely with other staff associates to meet production goals

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* Forklift certification preferred

* Ability to lift 60-150 pounds regularly and up to 50+ pounds occasionally

* Basic computer skills and knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware

* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
