Job Description:

MITRE is seeking an experienced Intel Budget Formulation Expert to support the Office of Economic Security and Emerging Technology (OESET). As a key member of our team, you will provide expert resource advice to the sponsor in the planning and oversight of the OESET's budget formulation and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis and recommendations on budget formulation and execution
  • Determine mission requirements and propose allocation of resources
  • Work with senior intelligence officials to ensure critical mission requirements are funded and properly executed
  • Deliver analysis results and recommendations within various products, including Congressional Budget Justification documents and supporting analyses
  • Assess policy changes and/or technology insertion on current program baselines
  • Review and understand budget exhibits
  • Leverage existing IT systems to collect, monitor, and analyze current budget allocations

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience and capability to advise on all aspects of the federal acquisition life cycle
  • Experience with the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB), the National Intelligence Programs (NIP), or Military Intelligence Programs (MIP)

Work Environment:

This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.
