Certified Phlebotomist

Job OpportunityPride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Puyallup, WA. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Job Name: Phlebotomist I

Location: Puyallup, WA

Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibility of extension)

Shift: Mon - Fri 7:30 am– 4:00 pm with rotational Saturdays

Payrate: $18-21/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.

• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the area supervisor.

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

• Minimum of 6 months experience.

• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
