We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform echocardiograms, imaging, and dobutamine tests to diagnose cardiac conditions
- Transport patients, distribute final reports, and maintain data management systems for echocardiograms
- Prepare patients and rooms, and maintain equipment disinfection between patients
- Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver a team approach to patient care
- Registered in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI
- 1 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies
- Current BLS certification
