Your role is crucial to our success. Every position impacts our patients' lives, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine to join our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance of the Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will prepare, calibrate, document, and administer radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing various nuclear medicine procedures. You will operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope-sensitive devices to capture visual representations or measurements of isotope concentrations in specific body areas or organs. This role requires delivering care to critically ill patients across all age groups, demonstrating an understanding of their functional and developmental stages. You are expected to actively participate in fulfilling the mission of HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, aligning your behavior with our core values and supporting our strategic objectives.

Required qualifications include:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred.
  • Florida State License in Nuclear Medicine is mandatory.
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) is required.
