About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled LPC/LMFT Supervisor to join our team at Light Counseling. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned therapist to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group supervision to Residents in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and clinical best practices.
- Review and approve clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Offer guidance on complex cases, helping clinicians navigate clinical challenges and make informed decisions.
- Facilitate case consultation meetings, providing feedback and suggestions to clinicians on their cases.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment strategies for clients with complex needs.
- Support clinicians in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Assist clinicians in identifying areas for professional growth and support their development through training and continuing education opportunities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy.
Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christ-follower.
- Requires a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or education equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- An active and in-good-standing LPC/LMFT license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Current Professional Liability Insurance.
- Complete all required background checks including drug tests.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
