We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist/Music Minister to join our team at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION. As a Music Therapist/Music Minister, you will be responsible for leading music performance groups, conducting music therapy sessions, and planning and organizing musical events.
Key Responsibilities- Lead music performance groups for regular and special religious services, facility events, and community performances.
- Conduct music therapy sessions, including assessment and ongoing sessions, and assist with active treatment options for individuals at the center.
- Plan, organize, and hold annual musical events, such as local music festivals or trips, awards ceremonies, holiday musicals, and pageants.
- Provide individual and group music therapy, including assessment and ongoing sessions.
- Assist with active treatment options for individuals at the center.
- Music Therapist board certified or obtain with 1 year.
- Valid Texas driver's license or obtain it no later than 90 days after hire date.
- Eligible driving record required based on HHSC Fleet Management policy.
