Ticket Checker

As a Ticket Checker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Vail Resorts. Your primary responsibility will be to validate tickets and ensure our guests have a valid product before loading our lifts. This role requires a high level of customer service, as you will be interacting with guests on a daily basis, providing information and assistance with a smile.

• Validate Tickets: Ensure guests have a valid product before loading our lifts.
• Deliver Premium Guest Service: Provide information and assistance to guests with a smile.
• Work Cooperatively: Collaborate with other teams to ensure lift lines are safely managed and lifts are loaded efficiently.
• Maintain Departmental Equipment: Scan devices, radios, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Escalate Issues: Report any safety or product issues to leadership.

• Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Availability: Willingness to work 35+ hours/week Full Time or 15+ hours/week Part Time.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for the entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
• Safety Standards: Adherence to safety standards and procedures.

• Competitive Pay: $20.00 per hour.
