We are seeking an experienced General Cardiologist to join our dynamic and growing multi-specialty group at Dignity Health Medical Group - Bakersfield, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret tests; collaborate with specialists for further evaluation
  • Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement
  • Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training

Qualifications:

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
