**Job Overview**
City Light & Power, Inc. is a leading utility development leader seeking skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialists to join our team. As a Maintenance High Voltage Electrical Worker (Journeyman Lineman), you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical system.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform inspection, testing, repair, maintenance, installation, replacement, and switching operations on transformers, switches, power circuit breakers, metal-clad switchgear line-ups, manholes, cables, protective relays, metering circuits, control circuits, and other electrical equipment used in electric power distribution at the 5kV, 15kV, and 35kV voltage levels.
- Experience pulling, repairing, splicing, and terminating 5kV and 15kV electrical cables.
- Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
- Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Utilize GPS tablets for data recording and preventative maintenance.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Journey-level knowledge and skills in the electrical lineman trade, including proficiency in the use of all tools.
- Ability to work in different adverse weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A) required.
