Position Summary:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing customer interactions regarding pick-ups, schedules, and product orders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting walk-in customers as required.
  • Ensuring the availability and functionality of handheld devices and printers.
  • Creating and printing daily driver routes, including necessary shipping documents and labels.
  • Coordinating with drivers for additional or missed pick-ups while maintaining balanced routes.
  • Supporting Customer Service with requests, route modifications, and rescheduling of services.
  • Monitoring the performance of Customer Service Representatives.
  • Escalating issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Reviewing and filing driver documentation accurately.
  • Conducting debriefs with drivers following established procedures.
  • Preparing consolidated manifests for trailer shipments.
  • Forwarding Vehicle Condition Reports to management for maintenance needs.
  • Assisting drivers with any operational challenges.
  • Creating load sheets and managing documentation for all shipments.
  • Tracking DOT hours and updating relevant systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and communicating necessary information to staff.
  • In the absence of management, overseeing employee performance to ensure safety and productivity.
  • Maintaining accurate DOT Log Files and Vehicle Condition Reports for all equipment.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.00 to $23.00.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Possession of a Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Familiarity with waste routing and hazardous materials disposal.
  • Understanding of DOT, EPA, and state waste regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
