EVS Worker II

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated EVS Worker II to join our team at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, a 99-bed acute care facility serving North Central Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a sterile environment in all areas of the hospital, ensuring the well-being of our patients and healthcare providers.

As an EVS Worker II, you will be responsible for cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, administrative offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, and public restrooms. You will also be responsible for laundering all hospital linen and taking daily inventory of cleaning supplies. Additionally, you may be asked to inspect equipment for any needed repairs or replacements.

In this role, you will be interacting daily with patients and other healthcare personnel, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive working environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous hospital housekeeping experience. You will be required to follow proper infection-control policies and maintain a high level of professionalism in your interactions with patients and staff.
