We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team on a traveler basis. This temporary position is perfect for an RN who excels in providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
- Required:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical unit or similar acute care setting.
- Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Previous travel assignment experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Location: Riverdale, GA 30274
Employment Type: Traveler (Temporary)
Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 (12-hour night shifts)
Work Environment: This position is within the Medical/Surgical Acute unit, requiring adaptability, collaboration, and the ability to work efficiently during 12-hour night shifts.
