About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at a top-ranked healthcare facility in Dickinson, North Dakota. As a locum tenens CRNA, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and anesthesia services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients.
  • Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including trauma stabilization and critical care interventions.
  • Diagnose and deliver acute and chronic pain management services.
  • Stay current with new techniques, technology, and medications related to anesthesia practice.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
  • No flagged or under investigation licenses.

Skills
  • Clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering anesthesia.
  • Critical thinking and effective decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the surgical team.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to changing patient conditions.
Working Hours
  • 5, 8-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:00.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
  • Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Continued medical education (CME) to maintain NBCRNA certification and medical licenses.
