Job Title: Physician Assistant - Outpatient Therapist

Location: Oakland, California

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Estimated Salary: $95,000 annually (base on the location and job requirements)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, treating an average of 14 patients per day.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address physical conditions and rehabilitation needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve patient mobility, function, and overall health.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, rehabilitation exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor students and ancillary staff as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in physical therapy through continuous education.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply, with at least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of [State] or eligible for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
