Job Summary:

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a talented Physician Scientist to lead our team in lung cancer research. As a key member of our Medical Oncology Division, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-quality care, improving patient outcomes through innovative research, and fulfilling teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at our leading referral center.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Physician Scientist to join our team and contribute to our mission of advancing cancer care. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading research projects and collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Developing novel therapeutic and treatment options through clinical, translational, and molecular research
  • Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Providing compassionate, state-of-the-art medical care to cancer patients

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A D., M.D/Ph.D, or equivalent degree with board certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
  • Qualification for licensure in the State of Kansas
