Job Title: Fleet Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles, including heavy equipment such as backhoes, trenchers, and directional bores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Troubleshoot problems with engines and order parts as needed
  • Repair, test, and drive or operate equipment after maintenance
  • Inspect vehicles for defects and perform work under the direction of a supervisor
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
  • Prior experience with repairs and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe working habits
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds as needed
  • Able to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, and in all weather conditions
