Job Title: Phlebotomist - Floater

At Synectics, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist - Floater to join our team. As a Phlebotomist - Floater, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing by labeling and packaging them correctly.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions based on established procedures.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record required (if applicable).
Work Environment:

As a Phlebotomist - Floater, you will work in a variety of settings, including patient service centers and doctor's offices. You will be required to travel to multiple locations and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
