Job Title: Senior Medical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Technologist to join our team at Sonic Healthcare USA. As a Senior Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, while also providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex laboratory testing and analysis, including blood banking, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior laboratory staff on laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory performance and patient care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong background in laboratory operations and quality control.
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
  • Active Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
