Key Responsibilities as a Trainee:

• Engage in a cutting-edge climbing skills training program
• Collaborate closely with a supportive team
• Perform line clearing and tree trimming for utility clients, including pruning, limb trimming, tree removal, and managing fallen limbs near power lines and structures
• Climb trees for manual trimming and removal around electrical lines
• Utilize, maintain, and operate various tools and equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Clear debris, remove brush and limbs, and apply chemical treatments for vegetation management
• Ensure the safety of employees and the public by identifying and mitigating hazards in the work area while promoting safe work practices

Qualifications:

• At least six months of experience working near utility wires as a ground person or similar role
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, operate machinery, and endure challenging weather conditions
• Willingness to obtain necessary training and certifications, including tree identification and licenses
• Acquire First Aid and CPR certifications
• Pass pre-employment drug tests and skills evaluations
• Hold a valid Driver's License
