Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to clients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the Nurse Manager.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Current NYS LPN License
- Minimum one year experience as an LPN, preferably in a substance abuse treatment program
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all populations served
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language
- Proficiency with computers
