Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for performing all grooming-related duties to ensure that dogs are neat, clean, and looking their best. Your responsibilities will include bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair. You will attentively follow pet owners' instructions and accommodate their special requests, treating pets with the utmost love and care.

Responsibilities:

• Breed-Specific Cuts: Delight customers and pets with your expertise in breed-specific cuts.
• Grooming and Styling: Groom and style pets according to pet owners' instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Special Requests: Accommodate special requests that pet owners may have, ensuring their pets receive the best possible care.
• Dematting and Detangling: Demat and detangle hair as required, taking care to prevent matting and tangling.
• Bathing and Conditioning: Bathe, condition, and dry pets, ensuring they are clean and comfortable.
• Nail Trimming and Ear Cleaning: Trim pets' nails and clean their ears, maintaining their overall health and well-being.
• Product Recommendations: Recommend suitable products to pet owners, helping them to choose the best products for their pets.
• Health Issues: Identify possible health issues and inform pet owners that they may need to be seen by a doctor.
• Pet Safety: Ensure that all pets are safe during the grooming process, taking care to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Work Area Maintenance: Routinely clean work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for pets and staff.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition, preventing any potential issues or accidents.

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: Proven professional grooming experience.
• Animal Behavior: Sound understanding of animal behavior.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy pets and equipment (up to 50lbs), and treat all animals with compassion.
