The Prisma Health Physician is responsible for providing high-quality medical services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ENT and head and neck surgery, with excellent clinical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with a range of ENT and head and neck conditions, including ear, nose, and throat disorders.
- Perform surgical procedures, including endoscopic and open surgeries, to treat ENT and head and neck conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in ENT and head and neck surgery.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
- Successful completion of residency in ENT and head and neck surgery.
- Board certification or eligibility in ENT and head and neck surgery.
- South Carolina medical license and DEA registration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an academic or research setting.
- Publication record in reputable medical journals.
- Leadership experience in medical education or research.
