Job Summary:

Columbus Regional Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and reassess patients in the Emergency Department to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current and valid NC or compact state Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ACLS and PALS Certification (required within first opportunity after hire).
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups and patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CEN or CCRN Certification.
  • TNCC Certification.
  • Experience in a critical care area or emergency department.
