Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance repairs and cleaning tasks in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of mechanical and stationary systems
  • Ensure a safe and efficient environment by following federal, state, and local codes, specifications, and ordinances
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and possess basic mechanical knowledge and hand tool skills
  • Ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, and explain conditions and situations accurately while troubleshooting
  • May require on-call duties as needed or as directed by the department
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred
  • Depending on location, a valid driver's license and a good driving record may be required
