About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
  • Unload products using a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas.
  • Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
  • Make frequent stops during a work shift.
  • Deliver products in inclement weather conditions.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect payment (cash or checks) where necessary.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
