Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Psychiatric Emergency Department at Halifax Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, collect, and document data to identify nursing diagnoses and develop individualized patient care plans.
  • Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
  • CURRENTLY LICENSED AS A RN IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
  • Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Certifications as required by individual unit/area
  • Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to build relationships with coworkers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
