Job Summary:

The Engineering Maintenance Associate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to guest repair requests, and communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting. A high school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required, and some experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve issues
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machines to ensure proper functioning
  • Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, requisitioning as needed
  • Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved programs and standards
  • Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in various categories, including air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting preferred
  • Driver's license required
