Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Print Specialist to join our team at Vomela Specialty Company. As a Digital Print Specialist, you will be responsible for operating the Vutek press, performing basic maintenance, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Vutek press, ensuring accurate and timely completion of print jobs.
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards, including wearing personal protective equipment and following standard operating procedures.
  • Collect and record data on press operations, including material usage and scrap.
  • Train team members on press operations and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital printing or a related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including basic to intermediate skills with MS Office products.
  • Color Theory knowledge required.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to follow instructions provided verbally, in writing, or in diagram form.
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets and production schedules.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks for timely completion.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and tolerate the noise and air quality of a production environment.
  • Good color vision and ability to identify and distinguish colors accurately.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
