The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing standard and advanced respiratory care procedures for patients suffering from various cardiopulmonary disorders. This role requires a high level of expertise and professionalism, as the RRT will be working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care procedures, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
