Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment and other devices to produce high-quality radiographs
  • Evaluate radiographs for technical quality and seek advice when necessary
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve factors that may affect image quality
  • Conform to department standards and maintain sound employee radiation safety practices
  • Initiate life support measures, if necessary, and possess a workable knowledge of the "Code Blue" protocol
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year program with an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with an Associate Degree or Certificate
  • Valid license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered Radiology Technologist
  • Current CPR certification
  • In good standing with the ASRT and ARRT
  • Knowledge of various software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EMR experience (EPIC)
  • Orthopedics experience
