Atrium Health Charlotte is a leading healthcare provider in North Carolina, seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a float position. This role will provide professional nursing care to patients in various settings, including ambulatory and outpatient environments.
Job OverviewThe RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include collecting data, analyzing assessments, identifying expected outcomes, and implementing individualized plans to attain those outcomes.
Essential Functions- Collects pertinent health information from patients or their representatives.
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, or issues.
- Develops and implements individualized plans to achieve expected measurable outcomes.
- Coordinates care delivery and employs strategies to promote a safe environment.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Delegates tasks to appropriate healthcare workers according to applicable legal or policy parameters.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state of residence or primary licensure state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per policy guidelines.
- Ability to lift and support 35 pounds, and physical abilities testing required.
This position offers an estimated annual salary of $85,000-$110,000 based on experience and location. Benefits include medical, vision, dental insurance, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
