Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medsurg/Tele team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to ensure that you are delivering developmentally appropriate care to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Provide education and facilitates learning for patients, families, and patient care team in a way that demonstrates a sensitivity to recognize, appreciate, and incorporate differences related to diversity.
- Advocate for the patient, represents the concerns of the patient/family and identifies and assists in resolving ethical and clinical concerns.
- Accurately and thoroughly document all patient encounters.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Basic EKG course within one year of hire.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
