Position Overview:

As a Senior Fuel Operations Technician, your primary duties will encompass:

  • Initiating the fuel station and conducting thorough inspections
  • Managing the register and operating fuel dispensing equipment
  • Transporting fuel products to commercial clients
  • Executing fuel transfers and maintaining accurate records
  • Upholding safety regulations and performing inventory assessments
  • Completing daily documentation and related responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant tank farm experience
  • Possession of a valid Alaska Driver's License with CDL-X Endorsement
  • Certification in Hazardous Waste Operations (HazWoper)
  • Certification as a Person in Charge (PIC)

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Positive demeanor and capacity to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Self-driven with strong communication skills
  • Aptitude for following directives and performing manual tasks

Work Environment:

This position is situated in rural Alaska and may entail exposure to extreme temperatures and diverse weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings, near moving machinery, and in potentially noisy or hazardous surroundings.
