About Your Role\Abstract As a Night Counselor at Transitional Services for New York, Inc., you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the Residential Programs on an overnight shift, ensuring resident safety and well-being, and providing support and guidance when needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree plus one year's experience in a mental health field.\
  • High School diploma with two years' experience in a mental health field.\
  • NYS Drivers License with a clean record required.\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Basic life support certification (CPR/First Aid).\
  • Familiarity with personnel policy, emergency manuals, and training manual.\
  • Availability to residents on an as-needed basis.\
