Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Execute thorough nursing care activities, ensuring accurate patient reports and medical histories.
- Assessment: Conduct mental and physical evaluations, administer medications, and assist patients with daily living activities.
- Therapeutic Environment: Manage therapeutic activities, including group sessions and individual patient interactions, collaborating with the treatment team for optimal patient care.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans upon patient admission and adjust as necessary in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Intervention: Implement treatment interventions as per physician directives, including medication administration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and external health agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation promptly, including admission paperwork and progress notes.
- Education: Minimum of a 2-year Associate's degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license in the State of New Hampshire.
- Certifications: BLS certification is required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of previous nursing experience is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in medical terminology, excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
