Position: School-Based Physical Therapist
Soliant is looking for a dedicated and experienced School-Based Physical Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and treating students with physical challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive in their educational environment.
This role involves collaborating with educators and other specialists to provide tailored therapy services that align with each student's Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The ideal applicant will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy interventions in line with IEP requirements.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify the physical needs of students.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique requirements of each student.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students.
- Keep precise and current records of student progress and therapy services rendered.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Valid licensure in the state of Washington or eligibility for licensure.
- Preferred experience in a school environment.
