As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for MRI exams, selecting anatomic and technical parameters, and producing high-quality images. You will also be responsible for patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination. Additionally, you will enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor. You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines, and ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS. You will also assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.

**Requirements:**
• BLS and ACLS certification
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong technical skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Minimum of two years of current MRI Tech experience
• Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/MRI Tech program
• Active unencumbered MRI Tech Oklahoma license
• One year of Epic experience

**Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required:**
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
• Can-do, team-oriented attitude
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks
