Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented APS Investigator to join our team at the Arizona Department of Economic Security. As an APS Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults in Arizona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults
- Determine if there is a need for protective and/or social services
- Make time-sensitive contacts with clients and interview anyone who may have information regarding the situation
- Write various assessments and summaries regarding the case
- Analyze a variety of complex documents
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Rehabilitation, Healthcare, or closely related field
- One (1) year of experience providing professional Case Management / Investigations Services
- Ability to understand and apply Federal and state statutes, APS regulations, policies and procedures related to reporting of vulnerable adult maltreatment
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports
- Ability to quickly assess, prioritize, and process report cases when received
