Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Publix Super Markets, Inc. As an Assistant Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional patient care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to develop and implement business plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data to support business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy management role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, medication therapy management, and immunizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Immunizing pharmacist certification.
  • Experience with pharmacy technology systems and software.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
