About the Role

Our ideal candidate is a subject matter expert with a minimum of 5 years of experience in their respective field. They must possess excellent teaching skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to create engaging learning environments.

As an Instructor, you will work closely with our staff to deliver curriculum in a compelling and effective manner. You will be responsible for preparing course materials, demonstrating exceptional teaching skills, and maintaining a welcoming learning environment.

We are committed to providing our students with exceptional classroom experiences, and we seek an Instructor who shares our passion for adult learning and training principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality courses on various subjects, including design thinking, leadership skills, management techniques, and more.
  • Prepare thoroughly using content provided by Emory Continuing Education.
  • Demonstrate exceptional teaching skills and ability to engage students.
  • Create an inclusive, welcoming learning environment.
  • Maintain course schedule in accordance with course materials and lesson plans.
  • Communicate with ECE staff as needed regarding scheduling, curriculum updates, recording/reporting, and evaluation feedback.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred; those with a bachelor's degree and/or advanced certifications will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in their respective field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills using PowerPoint.
  • Experience using video delivery (Zoom, Teams) desirable.
  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of adult learning and/or training principles highly desired.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
