Job Summary:

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facilities protected by Allied Universal. This role requires a visible presence to deter crime and enforce client rules, as well as detecting and reporting suspicious or unsafe situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions
  • Detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near assigned posts
  • Enforce client rules and regulations
  • Ensure the safety and security of clients, guests and employees

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meet licensing requirements as per state and local laws and regulations
  • Have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record

Working Conditions:

  • Work in various environments, including cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
