Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Instructor to join our team at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching robotics classes, developing course materials, and providing hands-on training to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach robotics classes, including lectures and labs
• Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, outlines, and lectures
• Provide hands-on training to students in robotics maintenance and programming
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in robotics

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience working in an industrial setting as an electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics maintenance technician, maintenance manager, or field service engineer
• Extensive experience with maintenance, setup, and programming of industrial robots
• Knowledge and experience working with computers and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience teaching robotics at a college, career center, or other training institution (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Robotics from a regionally accredited educational institution
• Extensive experience in installation, programming, and maintenance of industrial robots, such as Motoman, Fanuc, Yaskawa, or Kuko

Competencies:

• Attention to detail and ability to monitor and check work or information
• Adaptability and ability to adapt to change quickly
• Effective communication and ability to transfer thoughts and express ideas orally or verbally in individual or group situations

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour for instruction time
• Part-time, non-exempt position with a maximum of 29 hours per week
