Job Overview

Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join its team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to deliver effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings
  • Develop and implement positive behavior strategies in collaboration with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts
  • Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, and clinics, to provide direct behavior-analytic care
  • Document treatment progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with families and supervisors to establish a supportive environment for treatment and education

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or related field
  • Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification
  • Valid California Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products
