Core Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough physical therapy assessments and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians, including the recommendation and acquisition of necessary adaptive equipment.
• Set measurable objectives and create individualized treatment strategies to help patients achieve their highest level of independence and functionality.
• Facilitate effective communication among the treatment team, including physicians, patients, and family members as needed.
• Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation of services rendered to support accurate billing practices.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
• Valid BLS or CPR certification as per state requirements.
• Preferred: At least one year of experience in physical therapy.
